Torontron Summer Tour
Hand Eye Society’s Torontron Summer Tour is a summer-long program that showcases indie games on Hand Eye Society’s custom-built arcade cabinets at events throughout Toronto. From festivals to public activations, the tour creates opportunities for developers and artists to share their work in lively, high-traffic settings throughout the summer.

Toronto Fringe Festival
June 30–July 12, 2026
Soulpepper Theatre, 50 Tank House Lane, Toronto
The Torontrons will be set up in the Festival Hub Community Lounge at Toronto Fringe, open every day ’til late. This new quiet zone and community area will include seating, tables, gentle community activities, and a video game chill zone featuring Hand Eye Society’s Torontron arcade cabinets with old and new indie games to try.

This hands-on workshop introduces game developers to the Torontrons and shows them how to prepare their games for arcade-style exhibition. By deconstructing the machines and exploring their internal electronics, participants will learn how to adapt their work for classic and custom arcade controllers and discover new possibilities for public exhibition and interactive design. Part of the Play Outside the Box event series, presented with Douglas Gregory’s alt-control showcase and Gillian Blekkenhorst.
