There are a dizzying array of in-person events, festivals and conferences a game creator can attend internationally. Gameplanner is a new resource intended to help indies plan their exhibition and networking strategy, based on in-person interviews and surveys from 50+ creators across the country. Jim Munroe from Game Arts International Network will be joined in conversation about event-planning approaches with three very different game event veterans: Paloma Dawkins (Palgal, Montreal), Robin Baumgarten (WobblyLabs, London), and Dan Posner (Finish Line Games, Toronto). Afterwards enjoy a social with snacks and drinks, mingle with the guest speakers and play Paloma’s new game Songs of the Lost.

International Indie Insight Nights are a new series Game Arts International Network is doing to bring insights around the world to the Toronto community with the support of Hand Eye Society.

Gameplanner was funded by Ontario Creates and Canada Media Fund.
