We’re happy to announce the Second Annual Geek Chic City Fashion Summit happening at City Centre Dance on October 5 & 6 in Mississauga!

GCC aims to create an inclusive space for all types of fashion from streetwear casual to nerdwear under one roof. We are bringing together stylish folks from all strokes to come out and demonstrate what fashion means to you!

DAY 2 (WORKSHOPS) – Sunday, Oct 6, 12pm-5pm

12pm-1pm: Screen Printing

Learn how to design and print your own shirts with ScreenWiz!

1pm-2pm: Fashion Design

Walk through the basics of measuring and designing your own top.

2pm-3pm: 2D Character Design

Learn effective strategies of creating informed, functional, and well-crafted characters for use in 2D games.

3pm-4pm: Caribbean Heels

This class allows participants to feel confident, sexy, and fierce while embracing and embodying sensual movement in high heels. Focusing on fundamentals of walking in heels and getting comfortable with movement, class moves into a combination with participants leaving with a feeling of confidence and fulfillment!

4pm-5pm: Photography

For models and photographers! Work with photographer @prolificamateur in a photoshoot with an emphasis on teaching angles, framing, posture, space, and lighting.
