futures forward
Done in partnership with Ontario Creates, Futures Forward (formerly Fund Futures) is an annual program for early-stage game developers in Ontario looking to launch their own studios and build the business knowledge they need to succeed. Each year, we welcome a select group of Ontario applicants, developers with minimal business experience and a game project they’re eager to make, into a 7-week program focused on gaining business skills and receiving mentorship. The program not only boosts their chances of long-term success, but also makes them eligible for an exclusive Ontario Creates grant.
Previous Studios
Hand Eye Society has proudly run this program every year since 2017. Since then, several new indie studios have emerged from graduates of the program who have made innovative games such as:
