The Hand Eye Society is proud to announce the return of Super FESTival, Toronto’s flagship videogame arts festival. It will run November 1–7, 2025, with events in Toronto and online. Featuring videogames, workshops, panels, alt controllers, and the legendary Hand Eye Society Ball, the festival showcases creators pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling and playful media.

Festival-goers can discover new work on Torontron arcade cabinets installed across the city, explore alt controllers and playful installations, and tune into livestreamed talks and workshops on Twitch. Super FESTival kicks off with the Hand Eye Society Ball: Spooky Soirée on Saturday, November 1 at Cecil Community Centre, a costume party combining music, games, and immersive performance.

This year’s lineup includes work from acclaimed and emerging creators alike, including The Game Bakers, Droqen, and Carcajou Games, with many more to be announced in the coming weeks.

“On the heels of our 15th anniversary, Hand Eye Society is excited to bring back Super FESTival and the Ball Exhibition to Toronto’s game lovers,” said Victoria Kucher, Executive Director of Hand Eye Society. “We’re proud to present a Canada-focused festival in community hubs across the city, offering free access to over 20 games and an original immersive work from local studio Lockwood Immersive. Super FESTival continues our mission to foster inclusive communities and celebrate videogames as art.”
