For the first time ever, the City of Toronto is officially celebrating Toronto Video Game Month — and we’re proud to be part of the celebration! Running from June 2 to July 20, this city-wide initiative highlights the creative, cultural, and community-driven impact of videogames in Toronto and beyond.

At Hand Eye Society, we’ve always believed that games are a form of artistic expression—a way to tell stories, build community, and imagine new worlds. We’re thrilled to celebrate this month with friends and collaborators who feel the same, including Lockwood Immersive, Toronto Games Week, InterAccess, and many more doing amazing work at the intersection of art and play.

Whether you’re deep in the dev scene or just game-curious, there’s something for everyone:

🎮 esports tournaments
🌇 massive outdoor projections
💬 industry talks and workshops
🔮 and a whole lot of creative experimentation.

📍 We’ll be out in full force on June 12 at the Toronto Games Week Kickoff event, bringing our Torontron arcade cabinets to the waterfront! Come play games by local artists and enjoy the sundown spectacle—a massive playable projection on the historic Canada Malting Silos. It’s all free and open to the public.
